Welcome!
Welcome!
Thank you for checking out my new blog 2 Sweet Girls Stitchery. My purpose is to feature my all the stitched creations in hopes that you will want me to sew for you! I am dedicated to sewing original quality products.
Who are you?
Amy Pardo is my name and sewing is my game. By day, I am a Stay-at-Home Mom of two little girls. At night, I sew.
My mother taught me to sew when I was young. It was a wonderful gift. However, it was when I became a mother, my sewing passion blossomed. I enjoy the sewing process and the unique products it enables me to create.
Why are you selling your goods?
I love to give gifts that I have sewn like appliqued t-shirts. However, I can't continue to give away everything that I sew. I need to make some income to justify my need to buy more fabric. I am addicted to fabric. I could never have enough fabric. If you sew, you understand this strange passion.
What do you sew?
I sew appliqued t-shirts. I sew pillows, pillow cases, curtains, chair-back covers, napkins and placemats. I will lengthen dresses for my girls by adding ruffles. I hem pants. I sew patches on uniforms (Girl Scouts, etc.). Just ask me, I probably can sew it for you.
Do you make hair clips?
What a great question! Why yes, I do! I make regular hair clips and beautiful flower clips. I don't make bows because I haven't mastered them-YET. I have a great collection of ribbon and once I master bows, I will sell them as well.
Do you donate money earned from sewing to charitable organizations?
I am dedicated to giving 10 percent of my earnings to charity and to my church. I believe in giving back through my time and money. God has blessed me and I honor him even with my sewing.
